We are looking to recruit a Senior Operative (internally known as a No1) for our Optim-R line. You will provide support and assistance to the Line Leader in order to enable the meeting of production targets and effective management of the team. You will be pro-active in coordinating with the Line Leader in maintaining and improving upon; H&S, production, scrap, KPIs and OEE performance, and apply a hands-on approach looking at improving all areas within the production environment. In the absence of the line leader, the No1 will be responsible for the management of the team and all performances in line with KPIs.
Tasks and Responsibilities will include:
- Understanding of Health and Safety and associated reporting systems.
- Effective application of Quality standards.
- Complete understanding of product quality critical characteristics and quality requirements.
- Be able to undertake necessary documentation in line with Kingspan reporting structure.
- High level of process/machine perceptiveness.
- Fully trained and be able to operate machinery and equipment to the required standards.
- Understanding the line performance targets and ways of positive impact.
- Supporting Line leader in training, developing and managing the team.
You will have:
- Experience of working in an automated manufacturing environment.
- A good attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- IT Literate.
Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:
- Qualification in IOSH and knowledge of ISO standards.
- Knowledge of lean systems and improvement techniques.
- Accredited lift truck training.
