As a full time, permanent Modelling & Simulation Engineer you will:
- Develop advanced vehicle models across a range of software applications and languages in order to understand & improve our vehicle performance.
- Write in-house software applications to optimise our in-car energy management strategy.
- Use the latest methods in Machine Learning to produce predictive models for vehicle systems.
- Improve the performance and accuracy of existing models and algorithms.
- Support race and test events with analytical support & performance advice.
Requirements:
- Strong degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Maths, minimum Masters level.
- Proficiency and interest in computational methods and numerical analysis.
- Proficient with programming and analysis languages e.g. Matlab, Python, JavaScript, C++, C, & C#.
- Experience with performance control systems an advantage.
- Enquiring mindset and creative thinker, with high levels of pride and accuracy in their work.
- Flexible & comfortable with occasional travel. Event support could require working long hours over weekends.
