Salary: £50K - £60K depending on experience

Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday

About the role:

Working in a vibrant independent specialist day school dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to students who are neurodivergent with diverse Speech and Language and Communication needs (SLCN). Our dedicated team works collaboratively to foster an inclusive environment where every student can thrive. Our warm and nurturing school will support up to 90 children and young people across Key Stages 2, 3 & 4 in small classes of 6 pupils (age 7 to 17 years).

  • Clinical supervision will be provided by internal Senior Speech and Language Therapists or funded externally.

Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:

  • Working with all our pupils across the age range, supporting the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children with communication needs.
  • Manage your own caseload and be expected to work flexibly, providing therapy services to pupils according to clinical need
  • Actively participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, staff meetings, supervision, training and annual appraisals.
  • Develop the learning environment and support program

What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist:

  • HCPC registration
  • Experience with young people with ASC needs
  • Supervision and training staff experience
