We are looking for a Nights Receptionist to join us on a 32-hour per week contract! Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel brings together traditional Edinburgh architecture with an exciting and fresh indoor feel, offering our guests a modern luxurious stay. Welcoming locals to relax in our Garden area, experiencing mouth-watering food in BABA restaurant, or guests from far and wide being pampered in our state-of-the-art Spa - we cover it all!
As a Nights Receptionist, we will support you to:

- Make it count - you matter, and we will provide you with all the tools you need in order to create ridiculously personalised experiences for our guests every day!
What do you need to be a Nights Receptionist? Your main duties and responsibilities will be taking care of our guests throughout the night, responding to any queries or requests and making sure any late arrivals are met with a warm welcome. You will also be responsible for ad-hoc tasks throughout the night such as cleaning or preparing reports to ensure the safety of our guests and employees. This role is varied and you may be completing different tasks depending on the need of the Hotel!
So, we are looking for someone who has:
- Availability to work 4 nights per week
- Experience working as a Nights Receptionist, Concierge or Guest Services Agent at a Hotel is beneficial
- Confidence working on Hotel systems, experience working with Opera specifically is a big plus
- Drive to produce results, we work together within the Kimpton family to continue to provide our guests with extremely personal experiences and human connection.
- A warm and authentic personality, with a can-do attitude and commitment to service.
