We’re currently seeking a skilled HD Mechanic to join a reputable organisation in Melbourne, specialising in pre-delivery services for buses and heavy vehicles. Sponsorship can be provided. This role focuses more on bodywork than servicing and repairs, offering the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical components of buses and heavy vehicles.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure operational safety and performance.
  • Diagnose faults in engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, and hydraulic systems.
  • Overhaul mechanical components including engines and drivetrains.
  • Conduct system tests and make adjustments for optimal performance.
  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Adhere to all safety and compliance standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (preferred).
  • Minimum of three years’ relevant experience.
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
