We’re currently seeking a skilled HD Mechanic to join a reputable organisation in Melbourne, specialising in pre-delivery services for buses and heavy vehicles. Sponsorship can be provided. Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical components of buses and heavy vehicles.
- Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure operational safety and performance.
- Diagnose faults in engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, and hydraulic systems.
- Overhaul mechanical components including engines and drivetrains.
- Conduct system tests and make adjustments for optimal performance.
- Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance standards.
Key Requirements:
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (preferred).
