We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our client. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding techniques, particularly in MIG and TIG processes, and will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components to meet precise specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with various hand and power tools.

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Pay rate: £15ph - can be negotiable depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
  • Fabricate metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Assemble parts and structures using appropriate welding techniques and tools.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the fabrication process.
  • Conduct routine inspections of welded joints to ensure structural integrity.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve welding processes.
