We're seeking an experienced Audit Portfolio Lead (Senior Audit Manager level) to oversee a critical portfolio focused on Platform Engineering, DevOps, and modern cloud environments.

This is a unique opportunity for a senior audit professional to take ownership of a high-profile portfolio, driving assurance and innovation across engineering functions that underpin the organisation's strategic direction.

Location: Edinburgh or Bristol (Hybrid)

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and oversee a portfolio of audits covering platform engineering, cloud technology, and DevOps practices.
  • Guide and mentor Engagement Leads, ensuring effective planning and high-quality execution of audits.
  • Manage senior business relationships, offering independent assurance and influencing risk/control improvements.
  • Shape audit methodology through data-led insights, automation, and innovation.
  • Provide strategic input into group-wide audit initiatives, change programmes, and career development within the team.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience auditing cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), software engineering environments, and modern DevOps ecosystems.
  • A background in IT risk or audit within financial services or large-scale technology-driven environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence and communicate at executive level.
  • Experience coaching and leading teams in a complex matrix environment.
  • Relevant certifications (CISA, CompTIA+, TOGAF, Cloud certifications, etc.) and familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps principles.
  • Knowledge of AI assurance, infrastructure-as-code, and secure-by-design practices would be highly desirable.
