Are you ready to shape the analytics strategy for a major mobile news platform as it launches across Europe? This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up while working with both local stakeholders and global tech teams.
We're looking for a technically strong and commercially aware Senior Product Analyst to help unlock growth and insights for a leading mobile news app. You'll join during a pivotal phase - the product is well-established in other markets and now expanding rapidly across Europe.
Your two main stakeholders will be editorial and product teams.
What you'll be doing:
- Build and mature the analytics capability for the European market.
- Work directly with product, editorial, and global engineering teams.
- Define and track user engagement and performance metrics.
- Create, audit, and optimise dashboards and reporting tools.
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Looking ahead it's customer segmentation, profiling and personalisation projects.
- Help shape the data roadmap from early foundations to advanced maturity.
What you'll bring:
- Strong SQL and data pipeline understanding (you will work with data engineering teams rather than being hands on coding pipelines).
- Proven experience building dashboards and defining KPIs.
- Comfortable with data flows, table mapping, and metric definitions.
- Stakeholder confidence – you'll work with both editorial teams and global tech leads.
- Experience in media, publishing, or mobile product analytics preferred.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and thrive in a fast-changing environment.
