We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our engineering team. This isn't just an installation role; we need someone with strong problem-solving skills who can read wiring diagrams and get to the root of faults quickly.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Diagnose and fix faults using electrical drawings or wiring setups
  • Work closely with mechanical engineers to tackle breakdowns and unplanned maintenance
  • Share weekend and late-shift cover as part of a supportive, team-driven rota
  • Focus on keeping the site running smoothly and safely

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in fault-finding and maintenance (not just installation)
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams (ladder diagrams a bonus)
  • Positive attitude and a team-first approach
  • Foundry experience is helpful but not essential
  • Candidates with only food industry experience may find the environment less suitable

Working Hours:

  • Monday-Friday day shifts (5:00-15:00 or 7:00-17:00 rotation)
  • Saturday mornings (5:00-11:00) shared rota
  • Late-shift cover supported by a 12:00-22:00 engineer
  • Team works together to ensure we're up and running for the next shift
