In the UK, we’re applying our nuclear expertise to projects with EDF, a long-standing client we’ve supported for years in France. Our UK agency is seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team in Bristol. You will support engineering activities related to HVAC systems for high-profile nuclear projects such as Sizewell C (SZC) and Hinkley Point C (HPC).
As an HVAC Engineer, you will assist the team lead with the coordination, execution, and quality assurance of HVAC layout design and integration across one or more buildings:
- Support the technical coordination and layout engineering studies for HVAC systems.
- Contribute to the integration of HVAC designs within multidisciplinary building layouts.
- Analyze input data (e.g., P&IDs, equipment data, cable lists, electrical load lists) and ensure technical consistency.
- Assist in the coordination of 3D modeling activities, collaborating with the design office to ensure quality and compliance.
- Monitor and follow up on design Open Points within your building scope.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with technical standards and project requirements.

Requirements:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering or Scientific discipline.
- Solid understanding of general layout rules for industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with 3D design software, such as PDMS or E3D.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience working on nuclear or highly regulated industries such as oil & gas or aerospace.
- Knowledge of multi-disciplinary coordination in engineering environments.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment data sheets, and electrical interface documents.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
