Engineering Manager - Marine Systems

Our client a leading defence company has an exciting opportunity for a contract Systems Engineer to join their team within the Combat Air line of business for a twelve-month contract as part of the team working on our systems for Typhoon. This role will focus on supporting the development of systems for Typhoon Defensive Aids Systems. A role within the team will provide exposure to EW products and subject-matter experts with expertise within domain, product, and technology fields. Conducting cost and functional performance trade-offs and evaluation of proposed solutions Modelling a system to understand observed simulated performance Creation of Integration Plans for unit integration into the full system Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle, particularly in the following areas: Systems Modelling and Analysis Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Product Data Management using Teamcenter/SharePoint/Confluence.
