TML Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with one of our longest standing clients, a fast growing, UK wide, multi-disciplinary property practice that are searching for a commercial Valuation Partner to aid the growth of their South East / M4 Corridor valuation department.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN THIS ROLE?
As the lead valuer in this region, you will report directly into the National head. You will be responsible for a variety of commercial valuations across the South East focussing predominantly on the M4 Corridor up towards Oxford. You will cover a variety of asset classes, but typically offices, retail and industrial buildings/units working with banks, private and corporate clients, and professional contacts. Around 80% of your work will be commercial with the remaining 20% being residential development focussed. Your main mandate will be to aid the growth of the business unit through fee earning and business development. There will be an element of leadership but only by mentoring; this role will suit someone who wants to focus on fee earning. This team has around 3 fee earners in it and you will be the most senior.

- Grow and advance the businesses valuation offering in the region.
- Developing alongside the National head, the strategy for the region.
- Offer first class valuation services to multiple clients.
- Fee earning and developing new business opportunities for the division.
- Be positive, showing interest to help more junior team members when needed.
- Adhere to the highest standards of quality and compliance, and inspire an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Set a positive example across the business and enforce best practice relating to audit and compliance responsibilities.
- Exploit cross-sell opportunities within the service line and beyond, participating fully in the company’s client development activity.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
- Understanding of commercial property Valuation, ideally for loan security and balance sheet purposes.
- Track record and knowledge of undertaking Commercial Property Valuations and Valuation Appraisals, including the use of KEL and Argus (or similar) valuation software.
- A track record of developing new business.
- MRICS & RRV.
- Ideally experience of the Berkshire / M4 corridor region but London markets also fine.
