A highly respected, Chartered Financial Planning firm is seeking an experienced and ambitious Paraplanner to join their close-knit team. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual looking to progress into an adviser role in the next 2-3 years, while working alongside two established Chartered Financial Planners managing a growing client base of high-net-worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality technical paraplanning support to Chartered Advisers.
- Prepare suitability reports, technical research, and cash flow models.
- Assist with the development of financial planning strategies across pensions, investments, protection, and IHT planning.
- Liaise directly with clients and providers to gather information and ensure smooth case progression.
- Maintain accurate client records using Intelligent Office (IO).
- Support the ongoing improvement of internal processes and documentation.
- Contribute to client meetings where appropriate, with a view to eventual progression into an advisory role.
Requirements:
- Diploma qualified in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4) as a minimum.
- Working toward, or already achieved, Chartered Financial Planner status (Level 6).
- Minimum 2-3 years of paraplanning or similar experience within a financial planning or wealth management environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and tax planning.
- Ambitious, and client-focused with a long-term view.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
