Insight global are looking for a Network and Infrastructure Project Manager to join on of their premium retail clients. The chosen Project Manager will be responsible for managing infrastructure implementation projects in their retail stores. This individual will lead and coordinate infrastructure implementation that includes UPS Switches, SS Points, Wireless and telephoning solutions, and internet for existing infrastructure. They are expected to coordinate the scope, budget, timeline, and risk and issues registers, as well as preparing handover information for support needed ahead of project go live. This Project Manager will be communicating with business partners, the technology team and vendors. As such, previous experience/strong knowledge on network infrastructure and hardware engineering, as well as, strong written and verbal communication is imperative. Must Haves: Experience in infrastructure Project management Experience with network infrastructure and hardware engineering such as Switches, access points, wireless solutions, telephone solutions, internet and hardware connectivity Experience working in a comms room environment (no need experience with configuring necessary) – is this a must or a plus? Experience with end to end project planning: scope, budget, timeline, coordination, risk assessment, working with business stakeholders Experience managing multiple projects at a given time Ability to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders A background in engineering (degree or previous hands on experience) Experience with Jira and confluence Strong written and verbal communication skills
