We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Insurance Client Service Leader to guide and support a large team of Insurance Account Managers within the Public Sector & Education. This role is pivotal in fostering an environment where individuals feel both supported and autonomous, enabling them to excel in both office-based and remote settings. You will lead and mentor a team of 4-6 Team Managers across multiple locations, reporting directly to senior management.
You can be based anywhere in the UK if you can reliably commute to Guildford, Swindon, Chelmsford, Manchester or Liverpool!
Responsibilities:
- Leading your team – Supporting, guiding, and mentoring a team of Account Managers, ensuring they have the resources, knowledge, and confidence to succeed.
- Client Service Excellence – Advising on best practices to craft and execute outstanding client service strategies.
- Public Sector Account Management – Managing a select portfolio of key public sector clients on an ad-hoc basis, ensuring best-in-class service and strategic insight.
- Optimising Team Performance – Overseeing workload management, resource planning, and professional development to drive success.
- Enhancing Client Service – Monitoring performance trends, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to strengthen service delivery.
- Collaboration & Growth – Partnering with leadership to refine processes, leverage technology, and enhance client outcomes.
Who are we looking for?
- Proven leadership experience – Managing and developing commercial or corporate insurance teams.
- Insurance industry expertise – Strong background in team management, client account management, working within a regulated framework.
- A strategic mindset – Process-driven with a focus on continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and results-oriented decision-making.
