Do you have at least 2 years commercial insurance experience? Are you a sales focused Account Handler looking for the next step in your career? If you can answer yes to both then we have the perfect opportunity for you to take the next step in your insurance career.
You’ll need to have a solid grounding in commercial insurance with exposure to the main commercial insurance products including Property, Liability, PI, D & O, Cyber and packaged solutions. You will also be able to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels and should be used to using Word, Excel and wider broking platforms (Acturis in an ideal world). Lastly, you will need to be comfortable in dealing with customer enquiries via phone and email.
Built on meritocracy, our client's unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for its customers. Their team in Lutterworth have been recording some excellent growth over the last few years and they need to make sure they are fully supported as they continue to grow. This growth is fuelled by their people, so they want to look after you and make sure you can do what you do best – look after clients. This role is key to ensuring the team can carry on pushing forwards to win and retain more clients in the region.
As such, they would be interested in talking to desk based Account Handlers/execs who are comfortable in dealing with a broad range of small and medium sized clients, with exposure to larger risks being beneficial but not essential.
On a day to day basis, you’ll be assisting clients with renewals, mid-term adjustments, documentation queries and quotations for additional products, working closely with the account executives on larger cases and building strong relationships with clients and insurers to maximise retention levels.
They can offer you a fantastic team environment within a business that is growing year on year and in turn can offer you some excellent career prospects. A starting salary of between £30-40k, with regular 1-2-1’s coupled with the standard benefits package (Holiday, Pension etc.) and a culture built around developing its staff. You will also be offered full support for professional qualifications.
