Lead Solution Architect – AWS Cloud Focused – Remote Up to £100,000 p/a + performance related bonusses + bonus. This role is remote with the occasional travel to London every couple of weeks to visit the client site. ~ A leading UK-based organisation is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to spearhead the design and delivery of complex, cloud-native platforms. This senior role is ideal for someone with at least 8 years’ experience architecting large-scale distributed systems, particularly on AWS. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in designing secure, scalable infrastructures using AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Java-based microservices. You’ll be responsible for shaping technical strategy, leading architecture design, and mentoring teams across cloud transformation projects. You’ll play a key role in ensuring architectural standards meet business and compliance requirements, optimising performance, and managing cloud costs. AWS certifications, experience with other cloud platforms (Azure or GCP), and a background in serverless technologies, compliance (e.g., Additionally, if you have used DevOps tools and are DevOps focused, that would be a massive advantage.
