This role is a Fixed Term Contract due to maternity leave. You will make contributions that matter by:
- Being the primary contact for the Nuneaton site on all elements associated with product item costings, both current and future.
- Acting as the finance business partner for the NPD and Commercial functions, leading new item setups and associated ICT Gate processes for product costings.
- Working closely with the R&D and Operations teams to ensure costings are accurate and aligned with operating processes across all areas of the plant.
- Developing and analysing cost standards, carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis, and reviewing processes to ensure efficient reporting.
- Ensuring financial integrity for item costs and their associated BOMs within the company's P&L and cost of goods sold.
You are best suited for the role if you:
- Hold a professional financial qualification (ACCA/CIMA), either qualified or part-qualified, or are studying towards it.
- Possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLookups and Pivot tables; experience with AX Dynamics or similar manufacturing and cost accounting systems is advantageous.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and costing skills.
- Are an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
