We are seeking a highly skilled finance temp with management accountant expertise to join our client for a three-month period. This role has arisen due to a skills gap and capacity constraints within our current team, which are being actively addressed. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting us through the audit process and during the stabilisation of our Salesforce implementation. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with various ad hoc tasks as required, with responsibilities varying based on the needs of the team, this may be anything from assisting with transactions to preparing reports.
- Support the team for the annual external audit (May-July).
- Take a proactive approach and demonstrate the ability to use their own initiative and learn on the job, given the temporary nature of the role and limited team capacity.
- Possibly assist with the production of management accounts, including variance analysis and reconciliations.
Ideal candidate:
- Preferably has experience working within the charitable sector.
- Proficient in all aspects of management account production, including variance analysis and reconciliation skills.
- Capable of working effectively within a team of 12 members.
- A qualified accountant is desirable, but relevant experience will also be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Exhibits a calm and measured management style, representing the company's warm values. Although this role does not involve line management, it is important that the candidate interacts with other team members in a calm and composed manner.
