Are you looking for a new role in a forward-thinking and exciting practice with a strong emphasis on customer service and your clients’ best interests? Then this newly created role in a growing business in Corsham could be just the role for you.
As a client account manager, you will know your accounting and tax rules thoroughly and find the challenge of advising owners of small-to-medium sized businesses enjoyable. With an aptitude for advising clients on their business needs, you will understand the lifecycle of a business and the accountant’s role in supporting that growth.
This role includes both accounts compliance and advisory work for limited companies, businesses and individuals. You will manage a portfolio of clients, your own workflow and manage and support the workflow of more junior staff members. Using your technical skills of FRS 105 & 102, you will be producing statutory accounts for clients and presenting an operational summary of the results to your clients. With a focus on support and management accounts for our clients, you will have experience of producing management reports for your clients and reviewing client records to health check the bookkeeping.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Recent practice experience
- Experience of FRS 105 and FRS 102 for SMEs
- Have completed or be working towards a higher-level industry qualification e.g., ACCA/ACAB
- Be proficient in working with packages such as Xero and IRIS and Excel
You will be able to manage your time and workflow effectively, to ensure client work is completed in accordance with statutory deadlines and client guarantees. You will have the ability to apply your analytical and problem-solving skills to highlight and resolve client issues, suggest solutions and support business objectives. You will be a proactive and effective communicator, showing a willingness to talk through your solutions with clients. You will want to progress in your career to improve yourself in your management abilities and tax knowledge.
