A leading UK-based logistics provider is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Marine) to lead complex multimodal projects across key sectors, including offshore renewables, defence, nuclear, and civil infrastructure. This role involves significant technical, operational, and commercial responsibilities, particularly managing the critical interfaces between land and marine environments using advanced methods and equipment.
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000, plus a 15% bonus (up to £9,750), paid quarterly

Technical, Operational, and Commercial Project Management:
- Manage all phases of project delivery, utilising specific transport methods such as SPMT, barge transportation, RORO and LOLO operations, and heavy lift vessel transport.
- Oversee contract management, ensuring compliance with terms, capturing all variations, and implementing milestone payments and favourable payment terms.
- Proactively manage project financials, including cost control and strategic purchasing to maximise profitability.
- Produce and review engineering documentation, supporting junior engineers and ensuring compliance with technical standards using engineering software packages like AutoCAD, Inventor, or Navisworks.
Risk and Quality Management:
- Proactively manage risks across commercial, operational, environmental, and safety domains to protect all stakeholders.
Client and Relationship Management:
- Bachelor’s degree or a sea-going/marine qualification with demonstrable experience in multimodal project delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and specific engineering software packages.
- Master’s degree in marine engineering or a related field.
- Over 5 years’ experience in managing complex logistics and transport operations.
