Role Overview: The PR & Influencer Manager is a key member of the Marketing team, responsible for building and nurturing relationships with influencers and trade press. This role is responsible for developing and executing the group’s PR strategy to enhance brand visibility, improve reputation, and drive high-quality engagement, and continue to support their Influencer strategy. You will manage relationships with key influencers, media partners, and industry leaders to raise the brand’s profile across relevant channels and generate quality leads. The role will collaborate closely with the brands team to create and implement strategic campaigns that align with business goals, ensuring brand consistency and effective messaging. This role also involves monitoring and evaluating influencer and PR campaigns, identifying new opportunities, and building long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- PR strategy: Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns to enhance brand reputation, secure media coverage, and increase visibility in industry publications.
- Write and distribute press releases, company announcements, and other media communications.
- Build relationships with key journalists, media outlets, and PR agencies to secure positive press and coverage.
- Work with the Brands team to ensure PR activities are aligned with broader marketing goals and messaging.
- Influencer marketing & strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive influencer marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement in key B2B sectors.
- Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, thought leaders, and industry figures to collaborate on campaigns and promote the brand.
- Coordinate influencer campaigns across various platforms, ensuring content aligns with brand messaging and delivers the desired outcomes.
- Manage influencer partnerships, negotiate contracts, and measure campaign performance based on engagement, lead generation, and ROI.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and identify emerging influencers who align with the brand’s objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media professionals to secure ongoing media coverage and opportunities.
- Organise and coordinate media events, such as press conferences, product launches, and influencer collaborations, to enhance brand visibility.
- Assist with the planning and execution of trade shows, industry conferences, and other events that support the brand’s presence and reputation.
Experience needed:
- Proven experience in influencer marketing, PR, and media relations, preferably within a B2C/B2B environment.
- Experience writing press releases, developing media kits, and managing media outreach efforts.
- Strong understanding of managing influencer campaigns from start to finish.
- Previous experience working with influencers, media, and external stakeholders to drive brand visibility and awareness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging, clear, and persuasive content for external audiences.
- Strong relationship-building skills with influencers, media professionals, and industry partners.
- Creative and strategic thinking with the ability to develop innovative campaigns that engage audiences and achieve results.
