Are you a seasoned Operations Manager ready to lead a team in a fast-paced Managed Services environment? We’re looking for an experienced leader with strong commercial instincts, a passion for service excellence, and a track record of driving operational success within the MSP world.
You’ll be at the heart of our growing technical delivery function, leading a team of 9 direct reports and around 70 talented professionals. Your mission? Keep service standards sky-high, costs under control, and clients delighted – all while nurturing the team and supporting continuous improvement across our Managed Services and Professional Services functions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading day-to-day operations across two key service areas – Managed Services (on-site) and Professional Services (remote consultancy).
- Driving performance against KPIs, budgets, and delivery targets.
- Coaching and developing team leaders – setting clear goals and inspiring high performance.
- Ensuring we have the right skills and headcount to deliver exceptional service, on time and on budget.
- Acting on client feedback to ensure satisfaction stays strong and issues are quickly resolved.
- Supporting growth through smart resourcing and efficient delivery models.
- Collaborating with the Head of Professional & Managed Services to shape strategy and share wins.
What you bring to the table:
- ~10+ years in operational leadership within the Technology / MSP sector.
- Strong grasp of service delivery best practices – ITIL v4 knowledge is a bonus.
- A natural people leader – skilled at coaching, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
- Commercial awareness – balancing budgets, people, and client satisfaction with ease.
- Tech-aware – you don’t need to be an engineer, but you’ll be comfortable working alongside them.
- Confident communicator who can influence at all levels, from engineers to execs.
