We’re working with a dedicated and values-led care provider who are preparing to open a brand-new children’s residential home in Liverpool this summer. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a new service from day one and play a key role in shaping how it operates.
The home will follow a unique one-child-at-a-time model within a three-bedroom setting, designed to provide a calm, nurturing and highly personalised environment. The provider is seeking a Registered Manager who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and creating a safe, supportive home where young people can thrive.
About the role:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance
- Establish a strong, child-centred culture from the outset
- Recruit, lead and support a small team of residential care staff
- Develop and maintain individualised care plans in partnership with external professionals
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding legislation.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience managing or working in a children’s residential care setting
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and regulatory requirements
- A proactive and committed approach to building and maintaining a high-quality care environment.
