The ideal candidate is a highly organised, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities and delivery timescales.
- Researching, selecting and purchasing quality products and materials that comply with the required contracted standards.
- Expediting orders and monitoring of supply chain, ensuring management are informed of supplier issues as soon as they arise.
- Maintaining WTB’s approved Vendor list and adherence to G3 Systems Vendor Assessment process.
- Supplier Non-Conformance tracking and reporting.
- Perform commercial analysis on suppliers to develop more efficient processes and cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, CIPS level 3 or equivalent experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
