Now, we're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Domestic Electrician. This is a full-time, permanent position covering our Edinburgh. You'll enjoy a work week of 35 hours, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4pm. The salary ranges from £32,000 to £37,000 with company vehicle and phone.
What the job involves for an Electrician:
- You will work within an existing team of electricians covering work within Edinburgh/the central belt, occasional travel to Fife and Dundee may be required.
- You will be a team player with a drive to provide excellent service while maintaining stringent safety and technical procedures.
- Domestic EICR’s and remedial work.
- General electrical maintenance and installation in domestic properties.
- Smoke alarm installs.
- Emergency lighting installs, maintenance and testing.
Qualifications and experience:
- Minimum NVQ/SVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation City & Guilds 18th Edition.
- Experience in fault finding and inspection testing – 2 years minimum.
- Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations.
- Ability to work on own initiative and liaise with clients and other contractors.
- IT Literate.
- Occasional travel to Edinburgh for training and team meetings will be required.
- Legal Right to Work in the UK.
- Current UK clean driver’s license.
