Job Advert: Shunter Driver (C+E Licence)

Location: NG22 (Nottinghamshire)

Pay Rate: £13.44 per hour (Day Shift) / £15.44 per hour (Night Shift)

Contract: Full-time, with overtime available

We are recruiting a Shunter Driver to join our busy site in NG22. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth movement of vehicles and trailers around the yard, supporting the logistics team, and maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

Safely manoeuvre and position trailers within the yard and loading bays

Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects promptly

Work closely with warehouse and transport teams to ensure efficient operations

Adhere to all site safety procedures and traffic management rules

Requirements

Valid UK C+E (Class 1) driving licence

Previous shunting or HGV driving experience preferred

Strong awareness of safety and yard protocols
