About the Practice

We are a vibrant, community-focused GP surgery located in Vauxhall, serving a diverse patient population. You'll be joining a multidisciplinary team including GPs, clinical pharmacists, physiotherapists, health coaches, and a dedicated nursing team. Our modern facilities and supportive leadership ensure a positive working environment with excellent staff retention.

The Role

As our GP Practice Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out traditional Practice Nurse duties (immunisations, wound care, cervical screening, etc.)
  • Managing chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and hypertension
  • Supporting health promotion and screening initiatives
  • Working closely with GPs and allied health professionals to deliver holistic care
  • Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement projects
  • Providing mentorship to junior nursing staff (if interested)
  • Maintaining accurate patient records using EMIS Web

You'll have your own clinical room and dedicated admin time, with all appointments pre-booked and a focus on face-to-face consultations.

What We're Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (NMC PIN) with recent Primary Care experience
  • Confident in chronic disease management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Prescribing qualification desirable, but not essential
