The Company: An established Boutique Wealth Management firm specialising in Ultra High Net Worth and Investment Management.
The Role: The Senior Paraplanner will support a team of Wealth Managers in the management of HNW / UHNW client portfolios as well as assisting in the growth of the business whilst providing a high level of client service and support. The Senior Paraplanner will offer financial planning support to the team whilst maintaining client relationships. This will include preparation and implementation of recommendations, preparing balance sheets for the client portfolios, creation and maintenance of new and existing client files, CGT calculations plus various client reporting requirements and monitoring of client accounts ensuring that they are not violating guidelines and updating and changing accordingly. The Senior Paraplanner will have lots of face-to-face exposure with clients and will prepare the client meeting summary plan documents and recommendations. Prior to the client meetings, obtain information to create cash flow plans, then follow up for the return of documentation. Gather relevant review documents and review reports required for the meetings. Run daily/weekly/monthly performance reports on interval systems, ensuring that any irregularities are inspected and resolved. Work with platform and service providers as required.
The Candidate: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Paraplanner / Paraplanning / Financial Planning support role within Wealth Management - knowledge of pensions. Will be working towards Level Diploma 4 qualified if not already achieved. A good attitude, an ability to learn quickly and a hard-working attitude are vital for this role. Strong written and verbal communication skills, decision-making abilities and attention to detail are very important. Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure.
