A leading company in valve automation is looking for an Inside Technical Salesperson to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop their career in the engineering field.
You will play a key role in supporting the Inside Sales Department, handling all aspects of inside sales from initial enquiries through to order completion. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential, as you will collaborate with multiple departments across the company.
We are looking for someone highly organized, self-motivated, able to work independently, with great attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities Include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers, evaluating enquiries and assessing technical and commercial requirements
- Selecting appropriate products and preparing customer quotations using the in-house software
- Supporting customer service excellence and coordinating with the External Sales Team and other departments as needed
Required skills and attributes:
- Good awareness of engineering principles with some background in technical sales
- A technical sales background and understanding of electrical/mechanical principles would be desirable
- Ideally, relevant engineering qualifications such as NVQ or BTEC
- Excellent verbal and written skills and strong customer service skills
- Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (Experience with SAGE200 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus)
