Background – Superb opportunity to become part of an extremely supportive and forward thinking practice that genuinely prioritises patient care and satisfaction. They are looking for an experienced Prescribing Paramedic Practitioner with Primary Care experience. As a Paramedic Practitioner you will become part of the wider MDT and work alongside other very experienced clinicians. They are looking ideally for a Paramedic Practitioner to work 3 days per week seeing acute, on the day appointments both over the phone and face-to-face. This is a very forward thinking practice always looking for ways to improve and develop and care for staff morale and as a result, have a superb staff retention rate!
Salary – £50,000 - £58,500 per annum FTE (Up to £30 per hour DOE) + NHS pension + 30 days annual leave + Bank Holidays (pro rata) + Indemnity Paid
Location – Torquay
The surgery – Forward-thinking GP practice, very supportive of further progression and development opportunities. Long-standing MDT, including GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, Practice Nurses, HCAs and more. Very well-established within the community. Keen to help you progress as a Paramedic Practitioner. Superb staff retention.
Your role – Need to be a prescriber with experience in Primary Care. 3 days per week (Monday and Wednesday definitely required – flexibility on other day). 15 minute face-to-face appointments & 10 minute telephone appointments. Deal with solely acute, on the day appointments. Be part of a strong MDT. No extended hours.
The benefits – Salary up to £30 per hour DOE. 30 days annual leave + Bank Holidays (pro rata). Indemnity paid. Ad hoc study leave.
