Technical Manager Location Deeside Salary Negotiable + pension + benefits + holidays Hours Mon – Friday daytime A genuinely superb & quite unique opportunity to join a market leading business to help setting up and shaping a manufacturing department / plant. The Job: Reporting into the Plant Manager, oversee the day to day activities relating to water management, effluent discharge, boiler chemistry, chemical usage, product development, process rejects and chemical system maintenance. Working closely with the plant leadership team, ensure good cost control of additives and deliver site compliance requirements throughout the department Manage 2 process technicians The Person: Degree or HNC or equivalent in Chemistry, Process, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or similar Experience and understanding of water treatment and boilers within a manufacturing or process plant Willing to do occasional short trips to other European plants (2 – 3 days at a time) for knowledge transfer and training – once or twice per year. Good communication, multiple stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills important.
