We’re working with a product-focused business undergoing an exciting in-house transformation of its digital offering. They’re looking for a hands-on Senior UX Designer who’s ready to own and evolve a suite of user experiences across multiple digital products. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who’s worn many hats in a smaller team or business and is now ready to take that breadth of experience into a more mature UX environment with clear progression and technical depth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking full ownership of UX across several high-visibility product areas (you’ll be the go-to person).
- Working across the full UX spectrum — from discovery and journey mapping to UI design, prototyping, and handoff.
- Helping drive clarity in delivery: identifying problems, validating ideas, and pushing back where requirements are vague.
- Running your own priorities within agile sprints — this role expects autonomy, not ticket-taking.
- Collaborating with a tight-knit, experienced design team that values mentorship, feedback, and career growth.
- Navigating both legacy and new product streams as the company transitions to fully in-house development.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong generalist UX skill set: discovery, research (qual and quant), journey mapping, service blueprints, UI design, Figma, and design systems.
- Experience owning full product areas — not just delivering screens but driving direction.
- A proactive mindset — you’ll need to prioritise, push, and speak to stakeholders directly.
- A history of working in agile environments and contributing meaningfully to sprints.
- Bonus: experience coming from a smaller company or lean team, having led or significantly shaped UX efforts.
Why This Role? You’ll join a business that’s serious about UX, with a mature team and a clear promotion pathway — one that’s seen multiple team members step up within 12 months. With 5–6 digital products (and more coming in-house), the opportunity to shape real user impact is huge. If you're looking for a place to grow, own, and push your craft forward — this is it.
