Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a bustling first opinion practice?
Looking to join a close-knit team of vets?
We are supporting a bust 3 vet practice in near Hertford as they look to build more services and add a new MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon to the team.
The Practice:
Being based in Hertfordshire, we have great connections from Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City, Harlow, Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans and all surrounding towns. The team consists of 3 vets, 4 nurses and a great team of non-clinical support staff. There are 3 separate consult rooms for client privacy, a large and well equipped operating theatre, separate cat / dog / isolation wards and a fantastic diagnostics suite.
We offer our clients a wide variety of veterinary services so that any client coming in for a first opinion, can receive a brilliant service and clear care plan. On top of all your usual bits (consulting, pharmacy, spays etc.) we are also equipped to manage complex orthopaedic cases, and have a very modern ultrasound machine for tougher diagnostics.
The Role:
As we grow, we are happy to discuss what working patterns best suit yourself. Full time hours here is 40 per week and we do ask for 1 in 3 Saturday mornings to be worked. There is no OOH but some sole charge expected – you will always have nurses on side!
You would work a mix of consulting and surgical work clinically and have dedicated admin time in between roles. Those seeking more leadership in their day to day are also welcome to discuss how they can support our directors to help facilitate even faster practice growth. Consulting only is very much on the table for the right candidate!
The Package:
With fierce competition to attract talent, we know that your own remuneration is critical for deciding where to move to next. We’re pleased to offer between £40,000 – £80,000 per annum plus a wealth of benefits:
- Flexible CPD allowance with certificates supported
- Private health insurance
- Pension scheme
- Great holiday allowances
- Paid memberships for RCVS, VDS, BVA etc.
- Visa sponsorship available
- Cycle to work scheme
- Discounts on care
- Wellbeing initiative
- Loads More!
