My Client is looking for a Technical Sales Manager.
The role has responsibility for identifying new business opportunities, co-ordinating and driving our world-wide sales and marketing activities to ensure that their order book is in-line or above budgeted goals.
The role holder can expect to be a part of technical discussions and applicants must possess a dynamic and application driven approach to the sales process, supported by a relevant technical degree, or proven experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive our customer focussed activity to increase order book, in line with agreed budgets
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree Level in a, Biosciences, Physics, Engineering or other relevant technical discipline
- MBA or business qualification
- Management Experience
Experience
- Sales of technical equipment Imaging Technology
- Distributor Channel Management & Development
- A proven record as a team player who has the ability and confidence to work on own initiative and independently when needed
- Experience in relevant applications. For example: optical physics, medical devices
Knowledge
- Understanding of imaging technology and applications
- Development of sales and marketing plans
