My Client is looking for a Technical Sales Manager. The role has responsibility for identifying new business opportunities, co-ordinating and driving our world-wide sales and marketing activities to ensure that their order book is in-line or above budgeted goals. The role holder can expect to be a part of technical discussions and applicants must possess a dynamic and application driven approach to the sales process, supported by a relevant technical degree, or proven experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive our customer focussed activity to increase order book, in line with agreed budgets
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree Level in Biosciences, Physics, Engineering or other relevant technical discipline
  • MBA or business qualification
  • Management Experience
  • Sales of technical equipment Imaging Technology
  • Distributor Channel Management & Development
  • A proven record as a team player who has the ability and confidence to work on own initiative and independently when needed
  • Experience in relevant applications, for example: optical physics, medical devices

Knowledge

  • Understanding of imaging technology and applications
  • Development of sales and marketing plans
