We have an amazing opportunity to join TMW Live as Head of Live Experiences. TMW Live create a variety of different brand experiences across multiple clients. From launching celebrity autobiographies, to travelling the world promoting the UK's international communications programme, or launching new cars to retailers our team have delivered again and again. Our Live Experiences team are all about providing an exceptional level of service to our clients, delivering outstanding work, building strong relationships, and having as much fun as possible.

As Head of the Live Experience team there are three main areas of management responsibility: experiential, financial and team. We will be looking for you to oversee the strategic development and delivery of experiential projects, take financial management of the department and nurture and develop your team to be the best they can be.

At TMW Unlimited we offer Hybrid working, which for us is a blend of working remotely and in the London or Bristol office. It's all about choosing the best place to be for you, your team, your manager and the business on any given working day.

The Day to Day

  • Oversee all aspects of experiential campaigns from research and planning, through to production, implementation and analysis, ensuring client approval throughout.
  • Own key client relationships as first point of contact building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues across the agency.
  • Working with the New Business team to identify growth opportunities.
  • All client and internal reporting, measurement and evaluation maintaining relevant and accurate files including collation and review of past activities for analysis and case studies.
  • Sign-off comprehensive briefing documents for event teams; staff, fulfilment centres & ops risk, assessments, insurances, method statements and other health & safety documents within appropriate authority limits.
  • Onsite attendance and co-ordination of events and experiential activities when required.
  • Overall responsibility for the financial management of the department.
  • Forecast for relevant clients alongside Business Directors / Account Leads.
  • Provide sound leadership, line management and direction of the Experiential Team.

Who will you be?

  • You’ll have significant experience in a senior role, within Experiential Marketing/ Live Events, within an agency or client-side environment.
  • A proven history of delivering multiple successful experiential projects.
  • Confidence and Gravitas - Viewed as a trusted partner to senior/executive level clients and directly shapes client business decisions.
  • You’ll actively build your own profile within the industry working with New Business to identify appropriate opportunities e.g. editorial comment, event participation, working with industry bodies etc.
  • Excellent event management skills, including contractor management, logistics and operations and health & safety.
  • A one team approach that enables client and agency partners to work together seamlessly.
  • An excellent understanding of big picture finances (income, profit, scope and contract) and commercial implications, able to manage the forecasting and financials of an account.
  • Self-starting, motivated and highly personable, with a willingness to roll sleeves up and support the team when required.
  • A passionate leader, with the ability to nurture talent and unlock brilliance within the agency.
