\\n\\n Position Profile \\n\\n
This hands-on role will support a suite of investment trusts, focusing on financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and board-level engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with company secretaries, investment teams, and auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial outputs. The role combines technical reporting responsibilities with external stakeholder interaction, offering a varied and rewarding career path in the investment trust sector.
\\n\\n Key Responsibilities \\n\\n

- Prepare and deliver annual and interim accounts for listed investment trusts, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Oversee month-end processes including NAV calculations and reconciliations, ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
- Produce board materials covering revenue forecasts, liquidity analysis, and portfolio data, coordinating inputs from various stakeholders.
- Attend and support board and audit committee meetings, providing financial insight and commentary.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers to support year-end and interim processes.
- Maintain accurate statutory and governance records using appropriate systems.
- Monitor relevant regulatory developments impacting investment trusts.
- Assist with statutory returns and tax filings, including review of computations prior to submission.

\\n\\n Person Profile \\n\\n
- \\n\\t
- Professionally qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3+ years post-qualified experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with confidence facing off to Board level stakeholders.
- Experience in investment company reporting or financial services is desirable but not essential.
- Exposure to board and audit committee interaction is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong understanding of financial reporting frameworks.
- Interest in listed funds and willingness to grow expertise in the investment trust sector.
