The Exafield Group is a medical fieldwork agency operating in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, UK, North America and LATAM. Our job is to collect data from healthcare professionals and patients for market research purpose.

Fieldwork Manager UK

Your tasks:

  • Leading a recruiter & PM team to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Encouraging team spirit and sense of responsibility through results-oriented leadership of employees
  • Planning and organization of work processes and operational cooperation in the performance of qualitative and quantitative studies in the field of healthcare
  • Ensuring the best possible quality in the project management-specific processes
  • Ensuring compliance with standards in market research
  • Monitoring the profitability of projects
  • Request for quotation management
  • You will be an important point of contact for clients when required.
  • Led on a small number of projects when required to meet deadlines.
  • Supervise and mentor regularly, developing a collaborative team approach to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Encouraging team spirit and sense of responsibility through results-oriented leadership of employees
  • You will help write proposals brought in by senior managers, implementing these in daily operations.
  • Planning and organization of work processes and operational cooperation in the performance of qualitative and quantitative studies in the field of healthcare
  • Ensuring the best possible quality in the project management-specific processes
  • Ensuring compliance with standards in market research
  • Monitor and analyze performance at an individual and team level to support business growth and a high -performance culture.
  • Uphold ethical standards, ensuring consistent messaging across all areas of the business.
  • To lead, drive through continuous improvement a culture of best quality standards in market research through the direct line management of marketing professionals.
  • You will be responsible for the development of the team
  • You will be responsible for managing the team budget effectively, maximizing the financial resources available to support successful outcomes.
  • You have the excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve issues swiftly and amicably on behalf of the business.
  • You ensure that standards of the business are met, along with developing a culture of continuous improvement through learning from experiences.
  • You will provide supportive challenge to ensure compliance with policies and procedures are met and that continuous improvement is at the heart of the business.
  • Ideally, you will have professional project management experience and first leadership experience
  • You have excellent oversight of the team’s work ensuring successful completion of deadlines set.

Your profile:

  • You have completed vocational training or a degree in market research and/or project management.
  • Ideally, you will have professional project management experience and first leadership experience.
  • You have the ability to keep track even under very tight deadlines.
  • You have the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • You are communicative, assertive and maintain a solution-oriented, structured, and responsible way of working.
  • You have a high level of empathy and social competence.
  • You have strong decision-making skills.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the US market would be a real advantage.

You will of course have general day to day tasks, like:

  • Controlling time management
  • Cost estimating / budget
  • Communication with your client / team
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction
  • To meet the set project turnover targets
  • Ensuring the profitability of projects
  • Effectively manage a team of recruiters
  • Direct and oversee completion of project.
  • Develop plan of action including schedule, resources, and work plan
  • Assess risks and establish contingency plans.
  • Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in market research or relevant fields
  • 2+ years experience of managing teams and individuals in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience of effective budget management internally and externally, delivering within budget routinely.
  • Experience in business to business and business to client lead generation is essential
  • An appreciation of marketing and client side issues.
