  • NO emergency 24 hours/ night time work required!
  • The team operates a fair rota for breakdown cover roughly one week in every eight—but the MD personally handles the emergency phone outside of hours, so you won’t be expected to drop everything mid-evening and they would not expect you to work nights during this period either (More early morning through to evening when needed).
  • Bonus: There are often opportunities for gas and heating engineer Saturday work, typically paid on the day.

The Gas Engineer Service and Repairs Role:

  • Boiler servicing, breakdowns and repairs (mostly private homes and letting agents)
  • No site work (some light redevelopment, nothing heavy)
  • Local patch – 95% of the work is Brighton-based, rarely more than 10–15 miles out
  • You’ll be trusted to work independently while being part of a supportive and sociable crew.
