Salary: £48,710 – £51,802 per annum (£25.25 – £26.85 per hour)

Role Overview: My client are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Accountant to join their Financial Management team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and models that provide medium- and long-term strategic information for the council’s financial planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance strategic financial planning tools.
• Provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive financial strategies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in financial management and accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or relevant experience
