Property Manager

A leading Property Development and Investment Company, with a track record in providing places for the next generation, Wykeland have a passion for delivering sustainable regeneration projects across the North of England. With 2 million sq. ft, leased to over 200 tenants, the portfolio stretches from Grimsby to Glasgow and is managed through their in-house team. To support with the management of this portfolio, the Group are looking to hire an experienced Property Manager to the Head Office in Hull.
The appointed Property Manager will be responsible for the management of day-to-day operations, whilst retaining a firm hand on service charge budgeting and reconciliations and Health & Safety
Key duties will include but are not limited to:
- Management of all tenancies and agreements including rent, service charge and insurance billing.
- Onboarding/ off boarding occupiers onto the property database.
- Management of wayleaves and easements.
- Undertake regular site inspections with a focus on developing strong customer relationships.
- Management of all compliance matters including site inspections, coordination of EPC’s and all safety tests to ensure compliance across the portfolio
- Working closely with the Asset Manager and Facilities Manager, lead on setting service charge budgets, whilst overseeing the planned preventive maintenance programme.
- Liaise regularly with the Finance team on all relevant matters including utility management and payment.
It is envisaged the appointed Property Manager will be able to demonstrate 5 plus years of property management experience with a strong working knowledge of Property and Health & Safety law. An organised approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, Wykeland are seeking a candidate who is willing to take the initiative to resolve problems and look for value add opportunities.
