Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assemble equipment by reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Service and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to design specifications.
- Monitor materials and equipment to identify defects or faults.
- Support key company initiatives like on-time delivery and cost-quality management.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to 5S and LEAN principles.
- Contribute to the development of new techniques and products and support machinery acquisitions.
- Encourage team idea generation and implement improvement strategies.
- Engage in daily team briefings and contribute to discussions on potential improvements.
- Complete assigned tasks to achieve high target levels set by your Team Leader.
- Be flexible with overtime to meet business demands.
- Ensure all products meet NOV quality standards while maintaining productivity.
- Report issues via the engineering support system to enhance designs.
- Promote and adhere to company objectives, policies, and safety procedures.
- Participate in safety initiatives and follow all risk assessments.
- Strictly follow inspection and quality criteria, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Completed apprenticeship in HGV or plant mechanics.
- NC in a relevant field to understand and apply technical information.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and written instructions.
