We are eager to speak to experienced conveyancing assistants who are looking for a new opportunity in Glasgow. Ideally, you will be a highly motivated and driven individual, who is eager to grow and develop their career further within a busy, residential conveyancing team. You will be joining a high-performing, enthusiastic team assisting with all administrative tasks and building key client and customer relationships. You will be able to work proactively, to set targets and deadlines both individually and within a wider team environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing firm, with a great Scottish presence! This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. This role will follow a hybrid approach and have a salary of up to £25,000 p/a available DOE.
Are you who we’re looking for?
- You have Conveyancing, property and administration experience (desired)
- You are confident in the use of Microsoft Packages, in particular Excel, and LawPro
- You have strong customer service experience via telephone and email, and you enjoy building strong relationships with stakeholders
- You are proactive, and able to work well individually and within a wider team environment
- You take pride in producing high-quality work, meeting set targets and deadlines
- You are a strong decision maker and problem solver within a fast-paced environment
- You have strong administration skills
- You are eager to grow and develop your existing knowledge and skills further
What is the day to day like?
- Liaising with clients, providing updates and taking messages to and from clients
- Ordering redemption statements when required
- Ordering pre-sales reports, along with updates closer to settlement
- Drafting legal documentation for signing, including dispositions, securities, discharges, LBTT and sending to clients/lenders
- Lodging advance notices
- Updating LMS and Lender Exchanges, submitting and paying LBTT, and registering legal documents
- Handling any settlement enquiries daily
- Completing all allocated tasks and day to day general correspondence
- Using all internal systems to ensure all information is up to date and accurate
- Assisting with diary management and any administrative support
