We are looking for a Digital Beamforming Engineer to join our Hardware and Software R&D team at the IMV Group. In this role, you will play a critical part in the research, design, and development of advanced beamforming algorithms for next-generation ultrasound systems. The role will be approximately 70% focused on proof-of-concept and algorithm exploration, and 30% on implementation and integration, offering a unique blend of innovation and hands-on development.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics, embedded software, and mechanical engineering
  • Interface with subcontractors and technology partners
  • Maintain clear technical documentation in line with Quality System requirements
  • Manage development timelines and contribute to cost and delivery planning

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in embedded firmware development
  • Strong programming skills in embedded C and VHDL for FPGA
  • Familiarity with simulation tools and hardware-level development
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions
  • Background in hardware development
  • Prior experience in regulated industry or medical devices
