The Role:
As a key member of the sales team, you will develop new business opportunities, manage existing client relationships, and drive sales growth across your designated territory. This consultative sales role is suited to someone with a deep understanding of roofing or related products, systems, and the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and win new business opportunities with roofing contractors, architects, main contractors, property developers, and specialist distributors.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct site visits, provide technical advice, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
About You:
- Proven track record in roofing or related sales with a project-led focus.
- Strong product knowledge of roofing systems (pitched and/or flat).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively across the Northeast.
