As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. Our business is based on a trusted, long-lasting net of relationships with industry leaders, both on the supplier and customer side.
This role will focus on the timely and successful implementation of new complex customer and company engagements. The individual will take a lead role in advising the strategic sales teams in how to match our systemic capability with the customer and internal owners' needs. Once aligned to a solution, the individual will lead process definition and project planning to meet desired implementation timelines, allowing our strategic sales personnel to remain externally focused.
As new requirements are uncovered, the individual will support the development of new capabilities to meet those needs. This role is a major cog in driving Arrow towards long-term market-share objectives.
Principal accountabilities:
- Manage & execute complex projects related to special assignments, customer-specific needs, company acquisitions, change management, execution of strategy, and organizational changes.
- Oversee the processing of sales orders ensuring accurate receipt and booking, tracking sales shipments, delivery, billing, and backlog activities.
- Manage all facets of customer retention including resolution of customer concerns and developing a customer contact strategy.
- Manage return materials authorization processes ensuring customer returns, exchanges, service, and repairs are done with speed and accuracy.
- Resolve escalated operational issues including vendor concerns and contract reviews.
- Assign, design, and create new processes for special services/programs for customers.
- Conduct market research to determine special pricing for non-standard items to ensure appropriate profit margins.
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.
- May oversee customer quotes activities in line with customer-specific strategies and order management.
