We are currently looking for an Electrician to work around the Reading area on EICR's, repairs and maintenance within social housing. This role will start temporary at £23p/h with the opportunity to go on the books.
The Electrical Tester will have to complete 3 tests a day using their skillset and they will be responsible for:
- Completing EICR tests of full properties
- Signing off electrical tests
- Fault finding and fixing urgent C1 and C2 faults
- Communicating and liaising with tenants
- Travelling to different sites to conduct electrical tests
I am looking to speak to an Electrical Tester who:
- Has experience doing electrical testing
- Has experience working on social housing contracts
- Has a full UK driving license
- Has a clear criminal record (DBS checks will be required)
- Has an 18th edition and 2391 or equivalent
In return, the Electrical Tester will receive:
- £23 per hour - £38,000 annually
- Company van and fuel card
- Permanent position on offer after 12 weeks with salary £40,000 after probation
