The Fife Arms Hotel is recruiting an experiencedHotel Shop Manager to join the team.Located in the village of Braemar in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, The Fife Arms has recently been awarded Conde Naste Readers Choice Best Hotel UK, as well as the prestigious 2 Michelin Keys, and Aberdeen City & Shires Hospitality Employer of the Year.
At the heart of the Fife Arms Hotel, Braemar, is Aladdins cave: the Gift Shop, curated by Manuela Wirth, brimming with rare, beautiful, and thoughtful objects. As Hotel Shop Manager, you will consistently provide first class service to our guests, seizing opportunities to upsell and maximise revenue by making informed recommendations based on in depth knowledge of the products available.
Our Hotel Shop Manager will be responsible for:
- Driving excellent customer service standards within the Hotel Shop and provide an exceptional customer experience without fail.
- Ensuring that The Fife Arms is represented in-store by a team who are passionate about our Hotel and ethos.
- Maintaining a consistently high standard of presentation within the Hotel Shop, including displays/visual standards, stock condition and general cleanliness.
- Stock control and loss prevention: reacting to sales trends and communicating regular updates to the Product Development Coordinator to ensure all operational demands are met.
- Management of the Hotel Shop team, including training, performance management, rostering, recruitment, and well-being.
- Engaging with the local community to build relationships and the profile of the Hotel Shop and The Fife Arms.

Our successful Hotel Shop Manager will have:
- Proven experience from within a similar luxury hospitality and/or retail environment.

- Experience of training, coaching and mentoring others.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- A passion and ambition to deliver exceptional experiences.
