Our client is a highly reputable law firm with multiple locations across the Kent area looking for a Head of Conveyancing to head up their team in Tonbridge.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload consisting of a mix of residential and commercial property matters (when required) to include freehold/leasehold sales and purchase, lease renewals, re-mortgages and deeds of surrender.
Duties will include:
- Managing a caseload from instruction through to completion.
- Drafting various legal documentation.
- Effectively maintain the firm's case management system.
- Providing a responsive service, giving clear and concise legal advice.
- Contribute to the growth of the department by identifying new business opportunities.
- Attend to clients of the Firm on a regular basis.
- Overseeing the conveyancing department and managing a team of fee earners and support staff.
Skills required:
- Residential Property fee earning experience of at least 6 years' PQE +.
- Proven track record of meeting targets.
- Solid legal knowledge within the conveyancing process.
